     PONTOON RENTAL POLICIES

    • We deliver your rented pontoon to the public boat landing of the lake you are staying at; then we reverse that process for pontoon pick up at the end of your rental
    • We will go through the inspection checklist and will demonstrate starting and basic operations of the pontoon, as well as general lake information including any known hazards
    • Hayward Wi Pontoon Rentals does require a major credit card for all reservations/ damage deposits (debit cards not accepted), a 3% credit card surcharge will be charged
    • Rental deposit is refundable up to 30 days prior to your reservation date, however, there will be a $75 processing fee
    • No rental refunds if reservation is cancelled less than 30 days from your reservation date, although we will work to re-rent your vessel. If we are able to re-rent, you may be eligible for a partial to full refund
    • A damage deposit of $1000. per unit is required paid prior to pick up. Damage deposit will be fully refunded if no damage occurs. Renter is fully responsible for the cost of all damage and any loss of revenue due to a boat out of service caused by damage while in renters possession. If severe damage occurs, the renters damage deposit will automatically be doubled until the extent of damages can be determined
    • There will be a $50 charge per 15 minutes on late rental delivery/return
    • Renter and additional drivers must all be present to sign rental agreement/ waiver
    • As we update our fleet, you may not end up with the exact pontoon that you were originally booked with, but we always make sure to match you with a pontoon that will best fit your group
    • Weather and lake water levels are out of our control and do not constitute a refund under any circumstances
    • Must be 25 or older to rent our pontoons, please keep in mind that anyone born on or after January 1, 1989 and who is at least 16 years old is required to complete a boating safety course to legally operate a motorized boat or personal watercraft (PWC) on Wisconsin waters and must provide proof of certification prior to pick up. DNR recreational safety specialists recommend all boat operators complete a safety course.  For the online boater safety course, visit www.dnr.wi.gov or call (715) 892-7777
    • Driver may not consume alcohol while operating pontoon
    • No smoking, grills or fireworks allowed on rentals
    • Pets are allowed on board, however renters are fully responsible for any damage or cleaning associated with their pets
    • If you choose to not fill the fuel tank at the end of your rental, we will fill it on your behalf and charge your credit card accordingly
    • A cleaning charge of $125/ hour will be enforced for anything needing over and above maintenance cleaning
    • Extended rentals must have suitable docking/ lift for pontoon boat and renters are fully responsible for proper dockage of vessel
